Quinoa Porridge

Quinoa is your perfect whole grain to make a porridge

Quinoa is full of useful nutrients, is easy to cook, and makes a great alternative to oats.

Ingredients

Per portion:

  • 40g quinoa
  • 80ml almond milk
  • 80ml water
  • 1 tsp nutritional yeast
  • 100 g frozen or fresh berries
  • 10 g nuts (almonds, pecans, hazelnuts)
  • 1 tsp favourite nut butter (optional)
  • 10 g coconut yogurt (optional)

Directions

  • Mix quinoa, almond milk, water, and nutritional yeast
  • Cook on medium heat for 15 minutes
  • Add frozen berries (if using) after 10 minutes
  • Add nut butter, nuts and cook for 2 more minutes
  • Serve with fresh berries, nuts, coconut yogurt
